Los participantes trabajarán, desde el inicio hasta el fin del curso, en la formulación
de planes de desarrollo específicos para sus CFTP. Además, recibirán apoyo individual
al final de cada jornada en donde podrán profundizar el contenido del día a través de
sesiones libres de preguntas y respuestas. Así, finalizado el curso los participantes
podrán:
• Identificar claramente los procesos internos de un CFTP.
• Mejorar las prácticas de desarrollo del personal y desarrollar herramientas concretas para
gestionar las carreras del personal y el desarrollo de competencias basado en estándares.
• Analizar los desafíos y cuellos de botella a nivel de ecosistema de un CFTP,
especialmente en lo que se refiere a la coordinación con el sector privado.
• Identificar las tendencias internacionales en materia de EFTP y las buenas prácticas que
pueden ser pertinentes para la gestión de los CFTP.
• Identificar áreas de oportunidad de colaboración con el sector privado que generen

This two-week course covers the full spectrum of competencies needed for international competitive bidding for the acquisition of goods, works and services. It explores market research, procurement planning, the pre- and post-qualification stages, tendering processes, and bid-evaluation and contract-supervision functions. It uses the 2016 World Bank approach and standard procurement documents as the basis for participants' practical work and case studies, which are part of the course programme.

The aim of this new course is to create a space in which consulting and training professionals (working primarily in development, and specifically - in the micro and small-enterprise development sector) can learn how to improve performance of their companies, firms or departments dealing with consultancy and training. They will upgrade their professional standards and practices and prepare a strategy for improved sustainability of the unit they are managing. The course draws on ILO practices and experience accumulated as a result of the organization's wide engagement in management and small-business development, globally. It is practical in nature, providing real tools and insights, and drawing out the wisdom and experience already gained by members of the group. As a management course, it is designed to broaden participants' perspective, management potential and resource base, not just to convey technical topics. As a practical course, it will focus on applying course content to participants' actual challenges and opportunities in order to improve performance of their companies or units. The course will also assist the managers in identifying areas that they would like to explore in more detail in the future.

Multinational enterprises, development and decent work: the approach of the ILO MNE Declaration - May 2019
This course looks at the contributions multinational enterprises (MNEs) and national enterprises can make to respect for labour rights, the achievement of decent work for all, and enhancing the development impact of MNE activities. It introduces participants to the guidance set out in the Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy (the "MNE Declaration") for enterprises, governments, and employers' and workers' organizations. Through case studies, dialogue with MNEs and a company visit, participants will gain a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of government and enterprises in realizing workers' rights, fostering job creation and skills development, and supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises through business linkages. The course strengthens the capacity of government institutions, employers' and workers' organizations and enterprises to align private actions more closely with public policy objectives and national development priorities, also taking into account the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

This course deals, in a practical manner, with project risk management as a management technique that can be used to handle risks associated with development cooperation and public-sector projects throughout the cycle. Managing employment disputes effectively in international organizations
International organizations are under an obligation to offer their staff fair employment conditions and effective means of employment dispute resolution. This requirement is not only the direct consequence of the immunities enjoyed by international organizations, but also reflects the aspiration of global organizations to attract and retain a talented and diverse workforce by offering a respectful and enabling workplace. The increasing number of employees affected by managerial decisions on the part of international organizations, as well as the growing judicialization of employment disputes, points to the need to improve the ability of international organizations to prevent and manage conflict effectively. Objectives. The training course is intended to enhance the participants' capacity to effectively prevent and manage employment disputes in international organizations. Financial education programme design and implementation: Course for policy makers and practitioners
The course will focus on designing a financial education strategy (national strategy, institutional intervention or a local project) and its implementation. Participants will discuss the accumulated experiences, lessons learned and international practical knowledge. They will be provided with relevant tools, frameworks, instruments and will discuss lessons learned and current best practices applied by various institutions and actors globally. The course will be grounded in financial education experiences over the past decade of the ILO, the ITCILO and other global leading agencies and practitioners. Procurement audit and systems for prevention and detection of fraud and corruption
The course contributes to improving the effectiveness of the procurement audit and supervision functions in national and IFI procurement operations. It explores the full spectrum of procurement audit competencies, from setting audit/supervision objectives in compliance with the organizational mandate and context for producing audit/supervision reports and following up on audit recommendations. The course focuses on audit execution, taking into account both compliance and value for money. It also presents the key provisions of international treaties concerned with combatting corruption (the UN Convention Against Corruption and the OECD Convention on Combatting Bribery of Foreign Public Officials).

Promoting a just transition to low-carbon and climate-resilient development
Organised in collaboration with the Secretariat of the UNFCCC. In November 2015, the ILO adopted a set of guidelines for a just transition to environmentally sustainable economies and societies for all. These guidelines offer a framework for ensuring that national and global efforts to tackle climate change and other environmental challenges further employment creation goals, social justice and fair transitions for workers, enterprises and communities in an equitable manner. The course provides a review of concepts, global practices and country experiences with the objective of understanding the main policy areas of the just-transition framework and giving them practical effect at country, sector and local level.
