This participative course will cover the main characteristics of development intervention in Fragile Settings, merging practices and lessons learned related to Project and Programme Cycle Management in fragile states. It will provide participants with tools, techniques and methodologies for PPCM in Fragile Settings in order to analyse the factors and conditions that are influencing successfully the design, implementation and evaluation of projects and programs in Fragile Settings. It will also explore the current strategies utilized to engage stakeholders; the elements to consider for building an M&E system adapted to the context of projects and ensure project sustainability.

It analyses the main provisions of specialized contractual agreements, for example in the case of technology licence agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, trademarks and patents, state contracts, construction and engineering contracts, as well as related modes of payment and dispute-resolution mechanisms.

This training course, which is delivered both online and residentially in Turin, will provide GFPs with an introduction to the UN gender architecture and explore strategies and tools for identifying and addressing gender equality obstacles within organizations. It will examine gender mainstreaming tools (such as gender markers and the UN system-wide policy on gender equality and Women Empowerment - SWAP) and their concrete application to build a community of practice that fosters discussion and sharing of good practices.

Este curso tiene como objetivo contribuir al desarrollo de capacidades de los representantes sindicales de los pases seleccionados para ampliar la cobertura de los sistemas de proteccin social, con el objetivo de proporcionar funciones de equidad, resiliencia y oportunidad de los sistemas de proteccin social en el contexto de la Agenda 2030 (ODS). El curso tambin tiene por objeto fortalecer la capacidad de los sindicatos para promover la extensin de la proteccin social a todos los miembros de la sociedad mediante la aplicacin del Convenio sobre la seguridad social (norma mnima), 1952 (nm. 102), la Recomendacin sobre pisos de proteccin social, 2012 (nm. 202), y dems normas internacionales, a fin de abordar los problemas de la pobreza, la desigualdad y la exclusin social generados por la globalizacin. Se espera que el curso permita a los lderes y cuadros sindicales desempear un papel constructivo en los procesos de reforma de los sistemas de seguridad social existentes.

In a fast-changing environment (political, economic, social, cultural, technological and as regards skills requirements), in which governments and workers' and employers' organizations are having to contiuously adapt their strategies, a better understanding of the contemporary trends and challenges presented by different industrial and employment relationships is a compelling need. The International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO), in partnership with the University of Turin, Italy, is offering a Master in Industrial and Employment Relations (MIER). It includes a distance-learning phase and a residential phase at the ITCILO campus in Turin, followed by a second distance-learning phase for the preparation of the Master's thesis. The Master's programme aims to develop specialized, multidisciplinary knowledge of industrial and employment relations from a comparative viewpoint. It will provide participants with a deep theoretical and practical understanding of industrial and employment relations systems globally, by examining recent changes and trends in the major economic/geographical areas. It will also offer a range of learning situations in which participants can enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills. The Master's programme combines the sound academic background of the University of Turin with the ITCILO's international training experience. An international approach has been applied to the content, methodology and composition of the faculty.

The University of Turin, Italy, in partnership with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO), the International Labour Office (ILO) and the International Commission of Occupational Health (ICOH) is offering a Master course in Occupational Safety and Health. This one-year programme, conducted in English, includes an internet-based distance learning phase and a face-to-face residential phase at the ITCILO campus in Turin, followed by another distance phase for the preparation of the dissertation. The proposed programme combines the advantages of both sound academic input and the international training experience of the organizing partners. An international approach has been applied to the contents, methodology development and composition of the training team. This programme involves participants from both developing and developed countries, who will have opportunity to share their different experiences. It also comprises a range of learning situations in which participants can enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills.
