Biografía:
Hello!
My name is Sabrina
Raised by a passionate feminist, I developed a form of activism for gender equality since my teenage years. My MA in Asian cultural studies turned me into an advocate for environmental justice and I approached the modern climate crisis, while studying and working abroad. After graduating, I made good use of my sales roles in different industries, to do what I like most: caring about others. I love mediating various stakeholders’ needs to translate them into actionable and impactful projects. I hold a master in Sustainable Transition Management and my final project focused on enabling artisanal micro-enterprises to report on their ESG and access credits democratically. Currently, I work as sustainability coordinator and business developer: I'm also member of my Company's Global Diversity & Inclusion Team and coordinate several projects concerning gender equality in the workplace.
What thrills me: women's rights, climate change, climate migrants, ESG reporting, micro-finance, education, gender mainstreaming in the private sector.
When I’m not driving companies towards gender equality, you can find me crocheting ugly birthday presents, writing stories for my two girls or picking tomatoes in my garden.

Biografía:

Having over 15 years of experience in development projects in the field of environment and energy, I have gained first-hand experience in mainstreaming gender. I found that in most cases counterparts and beneficiaries would raise the same question on gender issues: why did they need to address gender in a technical innovation project? The general bias is that technologies have no apparent gender. The underlying issue, which is that access to technologies is highly influenced by gender, is seldom recognized

Hello,

My name is Sapho and I took the PGA certificate in early 2024, because of a genuine interest in gender mainstreaming and organizational management.

I am French citizen, and I have been working in developing countries since 2012 (Cambodia, Vietnam and Madagascar), while gradually gaining new responsibilities and more exposure to leadership and opportunities to coach others.

While studying for my PGA certification, I especially enjoyed the interactions with other eager-to-learn fellow gender specialists and testing different techniques to run fruitful interviews and workshops.

I currently act as International Operations Manager at UNFPA Madagascar, which means that shall I be selected for a PGA, I will not charge anything apart from my daily subsistence allowance while in the field.

I look forward to joining your PGA team or auditing your entity soon!

Best regards,

Sapho.
